Okay, it’s not Vail proper, but it’s Vail Brewing in Eagle, the original location of Vail Brewing. And it’s only minutes past Vail, on the north side of Interstate 25. I’ve been drinking this beer since the beginning, always tracking them down at festivals.

They started in 2015, and that’s the time I was neck deep in beer festivals around the state. I remember the first time I tasted their beer was at a beer event in Winter Park, and I was hooked.
While this isn’t a blog specifically about beer, I like beer as much as tacos so yeah, I’m gonna write about it. Sorry, not sorry.

One of the best things about Vail Brewing in Eagle is that Rocky Mountain Taco is the permanent food truck there. RMT has a store in Minturn. The other two locations in Avon and Eagle at Vail Brewing, are trucks.

I’ve been having these tacos for a long time because we’ve been going to Vail Brewing in Eagle for a long time. And while I’ve watched the price of a burger in Vail go from $17 to $25, the tacos at RMT remain $3 each.
That’s right. $3 tacos. And they are damn good tacos. Try the Alambre (a taco with marinated sirloin steak grilled with bacon, cheese, chorizo, onions, red, yellow and green bell peppers).

You read it here, and now you gotta go. Eagle County, and specifically Vail and Avon/Beaver Creek are beautiful, but aren’t affordable in many ways… housing, hamburgers, coffee, however, when it comes to tacos, you can’t beat Rocky Mountain Tacos on price or tasty flavors.
